Vita Bloom Labs was founded by three physicians: Dr. Daniel Afar (DO), Dr. Ariel Moradzadeh (MD, fellowship-trained urologist and men's health specialist), and Dr. Nathan Moradzadeh (MD, dual board-certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology). Each founder brings a different clinical lens: preventative and integrative medicine, men's and urological health, and procedural/imaging expertise, which is reflected in the product line. 

Every formula is designed and reviewed by the founding physicians, not licensed from a contract manufacturer's catalog. The team evaluates ingredients on their mechanistic and clinical evidence (published trials, pharmacokinetics, and dosing) rather than on marketing trends. A product only moves forward if the founders themselves take it daily. 

Yes. Vita Bloom Labs is entirely
physician-owned and self-funded. There are no outside investors, venture capital firms, or marketing-driven mandates dictating which products get made or how they're formulated. This independence lets the team prioritize clinical rationale over what's trendy or maximally profitable.

Yes. All Vita Bloom Labs products, Enfinity Paraxanthine, Akkermansia, Tributyrin PostBiotic, UroDefend, and PeptiStrong, are manufactured in the United States in facilities that meet current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards.

Yes. Vita Bloom Labs products are produced in NSF cGMP-certified facilities. NSF cGMP certification means the manufacturing site has been independently audited against the FDA's current Good Manufacturing Practice standards for dietary supplements, covering everything from ingredient identity testing to sanitation, equipment, and finished-product controls. 

Yes. Every Vita Bloom Labs product uses a vegetable cellulose (plant-based) capsule rather than gelatin, so the line is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. 

Store at room temperature, out of direct  sunlight, and with the cap tightly closed. A kitchen cabinet or bedside drawer is fine. The  Akkermansia probiotic uses a shelf-stable, microencapsulated form and does not require refrigeration. 

No artificial colors, dyes, flavors, sweeteners, or unnecessary binders. The capsule formulas are intentionally minimal. 

Yes. Vita Bloom Labs ships to a range of international destinations, with checkout currency support including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, and many others. International customers are responsible for any duty, customs fees, or VAT that may apply at delivery. For EU customers, a 14-day cooling-off period applies in addition to the standard return policy. 

 Domestic U.S. orders typically arrive within 2-5 business days after they ship. International orders may take 2-4 weeks depending on destination and customs clearance. Tracking is provided once your order ships.

Yes. Most Vita Bloom Labs products are available as a one-time purchase or as a recurring subscription at checkout. Subscriptions can be paused, edited, or cancelled at any time from your account. 

If you take prescription medications, have a chronic medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18, the team strongly recommends checking with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, including Vita Bloom Labs products. This is true regardless of how clean or well-formulated a product is. 

Yes. The line is designed to be complementary. For example, many customers stack the Akkermansia probiotic with Tributyrin PostBiotic for layered gut support, and take Enfinity Paraxanthine in the morning for focus. Each product targets a distinct pathway, so combining them is reasonable for most healthy adults.

Possibly, but the answer depends entirely on which medication. Some supplement ingredients can interact with prescription drugs through shared liver enzyme pathways (CYP450) or transporters such as P-glycoprotein, and a stimulant like paraxanthine deserves extra caution alongside heart or blood pressure medications. Always review your full medication list with your prescribing physician or pharmacist before adding any supplement.

Vita Bloom Labs supplements have not been specifically studied in pregnant or breastfeeding women and are not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless cleared by your OB/GYN or pediatrician. This is a general supplement-industry caution, not a product-specific concern. 

The current Vita Bloom Labs line is  formulated for adults (18+). Pediatric dosing, taste, and tolerability are different, and the team has not formulated for children. Please consult your pediatrician for any supplement use in minors. 

It depends on the product and what you're measuring. Enfinity Paraxanthine has acute effects on focus and energy you can feel within 30-60 minutes. Akkermansia, Tributyrin PostBiotic, and UroDefend act on the gut and urinary microbiome, so give them at least 4-8 weeks of consistent daily use before judging results.

Paraxanthine is the primary metabolite your liver produces when it breaks down caffeine. It is actually the molecule responsible for most of caffeine's "alert and focused" feel. Enfinity Paraxanthine delivers paraxanthine directly, skipping the conversion step. Compared to caffeine, paraxanthine has a cleaner pharmacological profile: it's less likely to cause anxiety, jitters, GI upset, or the late-afternoon crash that caffeine is known for. 

Most users report that Enfinity Paraxanthine feels noticeably smoother than coffee or pre-workout caffeine: fewer jitters, less heart-rate spike, and a gradual taper rather than a hard crash. People with histamine sensitivity, anxiety, or caffeine intolerance often tolerate paraxanthine better, though individual responses vary. 

Many caffeine-sensitive users tolerate Enfinity Paraxanthine well because paraxanthine doesn't trigger the same vasoconstriction, jittery sympathetic response, or GI irritation. That said, if you have a known heart rhythm condition, uncontrolled hypertension, or significant anxiety disorder, talk to your doctor before starting any stimulant. 

Akkermansia muciniphila is a keystone bacterium that lives in the mucus layer of the gut. It supports the integrity of the intestinal lining and is associated in human studies with healthier metabolic markers, GLP-1 signaling, and gut barrier function. Until recently it was nearly impossible to culture, which is why most probiotics on the market never contained it. The Vita Bloom Labs Akkermansia uses a live, microencapsulated active strain at 1 billion AFU per capsule. 

No. The Akkermansia probiotic uses a shelf-stable, microencapsulated format that keeps the bacterial cells stable at room temperature through the printed expiration date. You can store it in a kitchen cabinet or travel with it without ice packs. 

CFU (Colony Forming Units) is the traditional unit used for live, culturable probiotic bacteria. AFU (Active Fluorescent Units) is a newer measurement determined by flow cytometry that counts all metabolically active cells, including ones that are active but not necessarily able to form colonies on a petri dish. For strains like Akkermansia muciniphila, AFU is the more accurate measurement of biological activity. 

Research suggests Akkermansia muciniphila supports the gut cells that produce GLP-1, a natural hormone involved in appetite and blood sugar balance. By supporting a healthier mucus layer and barrier function, Akkermansia may help support healthy metabolic balance as part of a complete diet and lifestyle approach. (This product is a dietary supplement; it is not a substitute for any prescription medication.)

A probiotic is a live beneficial bacterium (like the Akkermansia in our Akkermansia probiotic). A postbiotic is one of the beneficial metabolites those bacteria produce. Butyrate is the most important short-chain fatty acid your gut bacteria make, and it's the primary fuel source for the cells of your colon. Tributyrin is the triglyceride form of butyrate: three butyrate molecules attached to a glycerol backbone, which protects the butyrate from being absorbed too early and delivers it deeper into the gut where it's needed. 

Sodium butyrate is largely absorbed in the upper GI tract before it reaches the colon, where butyrate's effects on the gut lining matter most. It also has a notoriously unpleasant odor and taste. Tributyrin is odorless, more stable, and only releases butyrate once pancreatic lipase cleaves it, meaning more butyrate is delivered to the lower gut where it has the most biological relevance. 

Anyone looking to support gut-lining integrity, healthy inflammatory balance, and overall digestive comfort as part of a normal diet. It pairs well with the Akkermansia probiotic for a probiotic-plus-postbiotic combination. 

Yes. This is one of the most common stacks. Akkermansia helps support the bacterial community and the mucus layer; Tributyrin PostBiotic provides the postbiotic fuel for colonic cells. They target complementary parts of gut health and can be taken on the same day. 

UroDefend is a daily supplement formulated to support urinary tract wellness. Each capsule combines four well-studied ingredients: cranberry extract standardized for proanthocyanidins (PACs), D-mannose, a simple sugar that supports a clean urinary tract, pine bark extract, a source of antioxidant PACs, and vitamin C, which supports a healthy urinary environment.

Both. UroDefend was co-developed with Dr. Ariel Moradzadeh, a fellowship-trained urologist, specifically because urinary wellness is relevant to adults of any sex. The formulation supports both men and women. 

UroDefend is designed for daily use as ongoing urinary tract wellness support, and most customers take it every day rather than only when something feels off. UroDefend is a supplement. It is not a treatment for an active urinary tract infection. If you have symptoms such as burning, urgency, fever or blood in the urine, see a clinician.

Cranberry juice is mostly sugar and water, with relatively low concentrations of the active proanthocyanidins (PACs) that matter for urinary health. Cranberry-only capsules are better than juice, but UroDefend goes further by combining standardized cranberry extract with D-mannose, pine bark, and vitamin C, addressing multiple pathways at once rather than just one. 

Generally yes, but check with your prescribing clinician first. The ingredients in UroDefend are not known to interfere with commonly prescribed antibiotics, and many clinicians are comfortable with supportive supplements during and after a course. Your clinician knows your full picture and should make the final call.
